Holiday Food Transport Tips

The holiday season is upon us, and many people will be traveling to visit friends and family. These visits often include parties or dinners so many people will be packing food for their trip. Here are some tips for traveling with food:

Ice Packs: If your food needs to stay cold, pack it in a cooler with ice packs. Ice packs are better than ice cubes because they won’t melt and you can reuse them.
Foil Pans: Use foil pans instead of your dishes, this way you can leave any leftovers behind and not have to worry about retrieving your expensive dishes.
Labels: Make sure to label your food with the ingredients used to prepare them. Many people have food allergies or sensitivities to certain foods so labels will ensure no one mistakenly eats something they shouldn’t.
